The Takamine EG543SC feels like a small-bodied electro-acoustic guitar yet offers impressive performance.

The NEX bodied Takamine EG543SC guitar features a solid spruce top, flame maple back and sides, a rosewood fretboard, and a TK40 onboard preamp.

The solid spruce top of the Takamine EG543SC has a pleasing, rounded profile, narrow waist, yet broad behind the bridge creating a soundboard that offers a balanced frequency response with deep bass, clear highs, and a sweet, round midrange that projects well. The NEX body carries the depth of a dreadnought to ensure a great level of volume.

The Takamine EG543SC TK4N preamp gives you a tunable notch filter to get rid of feedbacking frequencies and switchable midrange contour. The NEX is an excellent accompaniment to the singer/songwriter, or the finger style player.
