Mike Marsh tested the prototype of this snare in front of thousands of Dashboard Confessional fans for over a year before we finally made it into a his dream drum. Its die-cast stainless steel shell is precision lathed to a 5mm seemless thickness at both bearing edges, and lathed again to a 3mm thickness in the middle. Sensitive and responsive at one moment, thunderously fierce at the next, it features 50-strand snare wires to make it responsive to the slightest stroke. Its laser-engraved finish features scrolling that was hand-drawn by Mike himself, and comes fitted with die-cast hoops.
