Fender FSR Japanese Rosewood Telecaster (Natural Dark Stain Gloss) Overview
Very cool crafted in Japan Tele. With a Rosewood top & back and Basswood core this guitar is much more reasonable weight-wise than the original solid Rosewood Teles which would often weigh a ton! Basswood is an excellent tonewood although can be a little bland looks-wise, the same cannot be said for the beautiful Rosewood on the face and back! The body is a dark stained gloss finish and has a vintage bridge and USA Vintage Tele pickups and regular Tele switching.The Maple neck has an oval profile and dark gloss finish with Rosewood fingerboard and headstock laminate. The 42mm nut is bone, the 21 frets are vintage style and the machineheads are Schaller F-Keys. Overall an excellent quality Japanese Tele with drop-dead gorgeous looks!
