Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Lightly Aged
The '57 Les Paul has always been revered as a true classic. 1957 marked the first year that the holy trinity of a goldtop finish, humbucker pickups and the ABR-1 bridge came into being, and they've stood the test of time since.
First in a run of guitars to be aged in-house at Gibson's Nashville Custom Shop, the guitar has some very cool finish checking throughout the top, with some very light scuff and dent marks around the body. Dare we say 'Relic'? Otherwise identical to their Gloss or VOS '57 Goldtop offerings!
