Modelled on a Gretsch original, the USA Brooklyn nickel over brass snare drum is new for 2012. Each is rolled from 1.1mm brass and fitted with the brand new 302 double-flanged hoop. Brass shells are known for their bright, lively sound. The nickel plating controls the resonance, reduces overtones and offers adrier response than the chrome over brass.
