The Hughes & Kettner Stateman Dual EL34 50-watt head amp combines the tones of classic rock, blues and country, powered by dual 12AX7 preamp valves and dual EL34 power valves. Two sweet-sounding discrete channels.
Clean for the shimmering valve tone with a Twang switch for additional punchy high-mids, and a Drive channel for the added gain of a classic rock half stack with a Boost button for additional overdrive tone. Outputs for either 1x4 ohms, 2x16 ohms, 1x8 ohms, or 1x16 ohms.
The included FS-3N footswitch switches channels, Boost On/Off and Volume On/Off in the Drive Channel. Presence knob determines the overtone content for all channels. Reverb regulates the overall intensity of the integrated Accutronics spring reverb. The spring reverb is also capable of being activated via a foot switch.
The 2nd Volume controller on the Hughes & Kettner Statesman Dual EL34 Head regulates the difference in volume to the Master controller of the Drive channel, meaning the volume level is dependant on its position and increases and/or reduces the volume to the preset value.
