Korg Product Overview

The Korg Krome 73 is a professional 73-note keyboard featuring full-length, un-looped samples for a great piano sound. The Korg Chrome 73 also has many features that you'd typically find in much more expensive keyboards such as it's top-quality piano, electric piano and drum sounds. With eight-level velocity switching across all the keys of the Krome 73, this keyboard has a very wide range of available dynamics. The Korg Krome 73 is the ideal keyboard for players looking for a high-quality sound at an attractive price.

In addition to Korg's well-proven workstation features, KROME features a carefully chosen selection of the top sounds available today for bread-and-butter keyboard instruments such as piano and electric piano, as well as vital and dynamic drum kits, giving you the best of the basics. These highly usable piano, electric piano, and drum sounds by themselves set KROME apart from any other keyboard in its class. With sound quality and features normally found in much more expensive instruments, KROME aspires to set a whole new value standard, and become a unique and irreplaceable partner for real-world musicians.

A bit disappointed - it's not very different at all from the M50 - the new amazing piano sound is not comparable to a dedicated piano like my RD300SX. Takes quite a long time to start up. On/off button feels very cheap, and I'd've preferred a volume slider than a stick-out knob. But there's not much out there as a 73 key at this price so it'll do a good job in a band, but wouldn't do solo piano or jazz with it.
