The Korg PA2X-PRO is intuitive, powerful and interactive with the most stunning sound ever produced by an Arranger keyboard - and with the best range of pro features ever! The PA2x Pro, the successor to the highly successful PA1x Elite, is truly an outstanding pro arranger keyboard with a whole host of new and redesigned sounds and rhythms.
The Korg PA2X-PRO features the same sound engine as the Korg Pa800, plus a motorised colour screen, 73-key velocity sensitive semi-weighted with aftertouch, TC Helicon Voice Processor for vocal processing and harmonies, and mp3 player with real time transposer.
There are more than 950 ROM sounds, including an amazing multilayer stereo Acoustic Piano accurately sampled from a Concert Grand (and including String and Damper Pedal resonance!), plus 63 drum kits. In addition, the RAM area contains up to 256 user sounds and 64 drum kits and of course, there is full on board sound editing.
The full featured internal Sampler of the Korg PA2X-PRO can load Wave, AIFF, Korg format files and of course the incredible Akai sample library – about the largest sample library available – into the standard 128MB of added memory (expandable to 256MB).
The Pa2X Pro also features professional editing facilities such as Loop, Cut, Normalize and Crop of samples. A special "Time Slice" feature allows you to slice audio grooves and import the audio data into a Style so you can create some of the coolest rhythms imaginable. The Korg Pa2X Graphical Colour Touch Screen user interface is easy and intuitive to use with 7 background colours, and the motorized tilting display makes it easy to select the correct viewing angle.
The Korg PA2X-PRO features two interface modes: Easy mode shows only the most important controls for an clean interface, whil Expert mode allows full editing control. Live performances work the way you want them to with 2 fully assiganable switches and 8 sliders. Move the sliders, knobs and drawbars on the touch screen and their physical positions will follow. The same for numerical fields: touch and move then forward to increase the value.
The PA2xPRO is packed with hundreds of preloaded Styles that provide unparalleled realism and detail. Covering an expanded range of musical genres, the Pa2X Pro gives you styles for almost every important occasion. The Pa2X Pro has a powerful onboard sequencer that supports the main musical formats such as Standard Midi File, Karaoke files, General MIDI Level 1 and 2 plus the ability to display lyrics and chords in most popular karaoke formats.
