Nord Electro 3 HP Digital Modeling Keyboard

The Electro 3 HP has all the features of the original Electro 3 but sports a new 73-key Hammer Action Portable keybed, with a classic E-E range and 4 selectable Dynamic Response Curves. Amazingly, the Electro 3 HP only weighs 11 kg, making it the most ultra light weight professional Hammer Action keyboard on the market.

Naturally, the new Nord Electro 3 HP includes all of the award-winning features of the original Nord Electro 3, like the compatibility with the acclaimed Nord Piano and Nord Sample Libraries including the exclusively licensed Mellotron and Chamberlin sounds, the tonewheel and transistor modeling of the Nord C1 organ and Rotary speaker simulation.

With 4 Dynamic Curves there's a keyboard response for every personal style, and the new selectable Long Release adds a nice touch when playing legato parts.

Due to popular demand, Nord have added a flexible new Delay Effect with tap-tempo, rate, amount and a stereo Ping-Pong mode.

The number of Live Locations has been increased from 1 to 4, giving you greater freedom to experiment with new sounds and settings on the go that are automatically saved. Program access is now much easier, requiring fewer buttons to push to find specific programs.

Where the current Electro 3 perhaps can be seen as a great organ with additional piano sounds, the new Electro 3 HP gives acoustic and electric piano lovers a brilliant new keyboard that even works great for organ playing styles.

Nord Electro 3 HP Features:

  • C1 Organ Tonewheel/transistor modeling
  • Nord Piano- and Sample Library support
  • String Resonance (generation 1)
  • Exclusively licensed Mellotron and Chamberlin sounds
  • Rotary Speaker simulation

Organ Section:

  • Organ section from the acclaimed Nord C1 Combo Organ
  • Three classic organ models: B3, Vox Continental, and Farfisa with full polyphony
  • 9 digitally controlled drawbars
  • Two complete organ registrations for every program
  • The drawbars of Electro 3 are represented by up/down buttons and LED bar graphs instead of the ordinary mechanical drawbars. This gives you a big advantage: when you change programs, the correct drawbar settings are shown immediately by the LEDs
  • 17 user configurable organ presets for each organ model
  • Percussion with 2nd, 3rd, normal/soft, fast/slow for the B3 model
  • User adjustable percussion levels, percussion decays and keyclick level
  • Vibrato / Chorus Control with separate functionality for each model (the classic C1, C2, C3, V1, V2, V3 options for the B3, Vibrato for the Farfisa)
  • 4 Tonewheel modes: select the level of "vintage" you wish to have in your B3 sound
  • MIDI Split: The Nord Electro 3 is designed to support an extra MIDI keyboard when the Organ Split mode is activated. This makes it possible to use the Nord Electro 3 as a dual manual (Lower/Upper) organ with different drawbar settings for each manual
