The Thunderverb 200 incorporates Extended Tone Range technology, (ETR). Its combination of ground breaking tube engineering and unique output transformers, (patent pending), enable the amplifier’s bass bandwidth to operate as low as 30Hz without distortion.
This means that not only can the Thunderverb 200 deliver the most gut wrenchingly thick guitar tone you could ever imagine, it also sounds absolutely amazing when used for bass guitar.
Of course when it comes to drop tunings or 7 string guitars, other amplifiers will run home with their tails between their legs. The Orange Thunderverb 200 is the new standard for metal guitar amplifiers.
The Orange TV200H Thunderverb 200 is a 3-gain stage 200-watt RMS all valve head amp with 4 x 6550 output valves, 4 x 12AX7 and 2 x 12AT7 valves, switchable to 100-watt output.
With an Orange ETR Extended Tone Range output transformer featuring frequency response down to a clean 30 Hz, the Thunderverb 200 can be used either as a guitar or bass head amp. 2 channels clean and dirty, CH B with Slope/Shape EQ and Ch A with 3-way Treble/Middle/Bass EQ means a vast choice of guitar tones, from clean to very crunched.
Switchable power output to 100-watts RMS means all the tones are available regardless of output power level. A Valve driven effects loop and reverb on the Thunderverb 200 increases tone possibilities. Drive an Orange PPC412HP-8 400-watt guitar cab for awsome power, or 2 Orange PPC412 cabs.
