Orange RK-30 H
The head amp version of the Orange Rocker 30 combo. The Orange Rocker 30 amplifier head is powered by a pair of EL34 power valves running in Class A. Valves running in Class A circuitry, though less efficient and generating more heat than Class AB, avoid crossover notch distortion. Very hifi-ish, but a more natural sound.
The Orange Rocker 30 head outputs 30 watts of power, enough for gigging and enough to get the valves cooking without being deafened. The single stage preamp provides loads of clean headroom. The Natural channel is natural, no eq, no gain, only a Volume pot. The Dirty channel with Volume, Gain, Hi, Mid, and Lo EQ has phenomenal tonal range whether driven into overdrive or on the 9 to 5 side of sanity.
Matched with the closed back Orange PPC112 cabinet, the Rocker 30 pumps out the bass with clarity and projection.
