These new guitars are built with traditional cutaway, "Jumbo" bodies featuring solid Sitka Spruce tops, and flame maple back and sides. The EG523SC is a 6-string version, while the EG523SC-12 is a brilliant new 12-string model. The rosewood fretboards are inlayed with Mother of pearl and Abalone. Both Jumbos feature the world famous Takamine pickup and built-in tuner, along with the performance and value that players have come to expect from Takamine's G-Series.
