The 12 Band range offers more control, more sound and more power. There are six footswitchable features that include Pre Shape (for that classic Trace sound), Valve (to add valve warmth or overdrive), 12-band classic Trace Elliot Graphic Equalizer, dual-band soft-knee Compressor with separate controls for the High and Low bands, sophisticated effects loop (hi-pass/lo-pass/full-range outputs, left/right/mono returns, series/parallel switch, loop level control), and output Mute (mutes all outputs except Tuner Out).

Other features included are electronically balanced XLR DI outputs for pre-EQ and post-preamp left and right, left and right Line Outputs, and two valve/tube driver stages for signal preconditioning before the power stage. All stereo features listed above are summed to mono for the speaker outputs of the 1210 and 1215 combination amplifiers, with full stereo capability provided on the AH1000-12 head.
