The DTX540K is the most affordable DTX configuration to feature a full set of TCS pads ‘Textured Cellular Silicone’ which offers unprecedented dynamic control, and feel for players with the additional benefit of very low noise level. The snare drum and two cymbal pads are 3-Zones, which allows 3 separate area’s of the playing surface for 3 separate sounds. Powered by the DTX500 module, which amongst its many internal sounds feature real Yamaha drum samples, and mounted on its compact RS500 rack the DTX540K offers a truly engaging experience.
Because the DTX-PADs provide a feel close to that of acoustic drums they feel comfortable to play, help to improve your drumming technique, and integrate naturally into a hybrid acoustic-electronic kit. The DTX500 module has 427 drum, percussion and effect sounds for any musical situation and offers comprehensive training functions including Groove Check, practice songs, and easy MIDI recording. It is also a very capable MIDI controller for virtual drum instruments.
