YAMAHA DREADNOUGHT ACOUSTIC FOLK GUITAR
An updated FG using techniques developed for the high-end L-Series handcrafted models. The new FG models feature an inverted L-block which creates a deeper low end and a tighter body-neck connection.
Non-scallop, X-type bracing delivers deep lows full of presence and a clear upper end. Response is clear and tight. Additionally, solid spruce tops, die-cast chrome hardware, and unique non-scalloped bracing help these new FG guitars build on the longevity and legendary status of the originals.
Compared to a typical dreadnought, the FG Series "Jumbo" bodies are slightly thinner in width. Besides making them easier to hold and play, their smaller body mass offers faster response and a brighter tone.
