Zoom G1N Overview

The Zoom G1N guitar multi-effects pedal uses Zoom ZFX modelling technology and brings to life the sound of some of the greatest guitar legends with the sonic details of 15 amp and stomp-box classics, offering a range from blues break up to full-on metal thrash. The Zoom G1N models the signature tones of nine rock legends from Jimi Hendrix to Eric Clapton along with 21 artist patches, and 10 playing style presets.

The Zoom G1N guitar multi-effects pedal uses Zoom's ZFM modelling technology to deliver a wide range of guitar effects, amp and stomp box models, plus playing style presets. In addition to the 15 amp and stomp box models available in the Zoom G1N, there is a lineup of artist patches from modern guitarists like Matt Bachand, Rob Caggiano, and Richie Kotzen who built tones for bands from Poison to Shadows Fall and Anthrax. The Zoom G1N guitar effects pedal also contains 10 types of presets, such as power chords, arpeggios, and leads, using the power of True Tube Modeling from Zoom's original 32-bit ZFX-3 processor and placing a wide variety of playing styles in a compact guitar multi-effects stompbox.

Editing and creating effects with the Zoom G1N guitar effects pedal is a simple. Select the effect module you want to edit by dialing in the selector knob, and then adjust it with the intuitive interface. When you have the tone that you're looking for, click the dedicated buttons for saving patches. Other functions such as accessing the chromatic tuner, switching effects banks, and triggering the rhythm engine require a click or two, and the bright LED display makes lets you operate the Zoom G1N guitar effects pedal in the dim light of the stage.

The Zoom G1N guitar effects pedal's on-board drum machine provides realistic PCM drum sounds for a variety of rhythm patterns to jam with. There are 40 variations covering rock and pop to funk and jazz. A tap function sets the tempo, so you can practice shredding or soloing to a steady beat.

Connect the optional Zoom FS01 foot switch to switch patch banks or perform tap tempo input with your foot. Use the optional Zoom FP02 expression pedal to control effect parameters such as wah, pitch shift, volume, drive gain, modulation rate, mixing balance of delay and reverb in real time.
