Gretsch have recently unveiled their brand new Streamliner series…and they will blow your mind!
The new series will replace the entry level Electromatic range, offering far eastern built affordable versions of some of Gretsch’s most loved and cherished body shapes. What defines the Streamliner as one of the most exciting releases of this year is that they have completely broken the mould of conventional expectation for instruments of their price point.
With a remarkably broad range of body shapes; single cuts, double cuts and junior sized models, Gretsch have gone to town on their range of available finishes. No standard black, white, red and sunburst for the Streamliner series, no sir! Instead they’ve included such rare and incredible colours as, Gold Dust, Walnut Stain, and Torino Green.
A number of models also feature bigsby systems! Completely unbelievable to see such premium quality features on such affordable guitars. All the series also include Gretsch’s new Broad’tron humbucking pick-ups; based on Gretsch’s original and unique humbuckers, the Broad’tron has been increased in height to allow it to fit into a conventional sized cut out for humbuckers.
Surely this range of instruments must now be the best looking and most affordable guitars on the market.
