The HX Effects is Line 6’s answer to traditional pedalboard setups integrating the highly-popular Helix effects. Featuring the same audio engine found in Helix processors, the HX covers the full range of Helix effects and will be sure to let your creativity run wild. It’s a compact, versatile and handy tool that will look great on even the busiest pedalboards.
Line 6’s HX Effects modeling is unparalleled when it comes to quality. Their emulations are next to none, with meticulous mimicking of the circuitry and performance of vintage style equipment – delivering unprecedented authenticity. It boasts over 100 of the same effects featured in Helix processors (distortions, delays, reverbs, modulations, pitch/synth/filters, compressors/limiters, EQs, wahs, and an onboard looper), so you will have a wider choice of FX combinations than ever before – with plenty of onboard DSP allowing you to run up to nine effects at once. The HX can also load custom impulse responses (IRs), allowing you to take personal customization to the next level!

HX Effects integrates effortlessly into your personal setup thanks to robust routing and control options, including parallel stereo signal paths, two assignable effects loops (stereo linkable), two expression pedal inputs, and up to four amp switching outputs. The switchable line-level input allows musicians of all types use the HX, whether you’re a keyboardist, DJ, or even a producer/engineer looking to use the HX as a piece of outboard gear, you’re covered.
The editing of effects is seamless with the eight capacitive-sensing footswitches with colour-coded LED rings, and the six LED scribble scrips to allow for a truly intuitive effect selection. Parameter adjustment is as easy and quick as possible, simply touch a footswitch with your finger and adjust accordingly, or touch two switches to swap them. To display all parameters at once across the LED’s, simply touch and hold a switch.
The panel on the back works as your command hub, allowing you to remote control other pedals or your DAW software via MIDI DIN or USB MIDI, and manipulate your amps from up to four amp switching outputs – all from HX Effects!
