5th: Taylor introduces four new premium-performance acoustics to join the Builders Edition Collection

Taylor master guitar designer Andy Powers has leveraged the flexible tone-shaping framework of his V-ClassTM bracing to design four new, envelope-pushing models. V-Class not only improves an acoustic guitar’s fundamental sound — better volume, sustain and intonation — its architecture can be modified and integrated with other design elements to create dramatically different flavors of tone. Each BE model blends V-Class voicing with comfortable con- touring and other player-centric features to elevate the sound and feel of a Taylor in a uniquely inspiring way.
4th: The new Gibson Slash Collection features two acoustic guitars and four electric guitars inspired by the man himself.
These Les Paul Standards feature an AAA maple top, a solid mahogany body, a C-shape neck profile and Slash’s signature Gibson SlashBucker pickups. The Slash Collection Les Paul Standard is available in November Burst, Appetite Burst, Vermillion Burst and Anaconda Burst. Additionally, they’re also releasing his first ever acoustic signature models that has some modifications from the man himself, including a rounded C-neck profile and a 16″ fingerboard radius.

The Tom Morello “Soul Power” Stratocaster – based on the modified Designer Series Strat used during his time in Audioslave – features an alder slab body with binding and a Deep C-shape maple neck with 9.5-14 compound radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
For those in the know, the Fender Limited Edition HM Strat will no doubt be one of the most exciting releases from NAMM this year, available in four colours Flash Pink, Bright White, Frozen Yellow and Ice Blue. It was used by many of the Late ’80s Rock and Metal players as well as many prolific Shredders due to it’s slim, fast easily playable neck, high output pickups which sing under distortion and the Floyd Rose trem for dive bombs. Very limited numbers so don’t be dissapointed!
The limited-edition HM Strat sports the same unique look and specs that helped the ’88-92 models compete with the hot-rodded Strat impersonators of the day. Built in the same factory as the original, the HM (for Heavy Metal) Strat features a narrow “C” neck, with unique 25.1” scale, 17” radius maple or rosewood fingerboard with 24 Jumbo frets for nearly effortless bends and technical fretwork
