At the heart of Gibson's square-shoulder dreadnought line is the Songwriter Deluxe Studio. First introduced in 2003, the Songwriter combines Gibson's time-honoured bracing patterns of the 1930s with their original dreadnought shape. Features include a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Rosewood back & sides, 1-piece Mahogany neck, 1-piece Rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges for comfort, Mother of Pearl parallelogram inlays, Grover tuners, Tusq nut & saddle and a L.R. Baggs VTC pickup.
