Four Flexible Channels
AER have equipped the Compact 80 Pro acoustic combo with four individual channels, which can be used in a variety of ways. This makes the Compact 80 Pro ideal for ensembles or duos. You can have one vocal mic accompanied by three instruments or a duo where each performer has a vocal mic and instrument. Each channel has its own 3-band EQ, allowing you to sculpt each voice or instrument individually to create the perfect mix. Channel 1 boasts a Colour Filter, which imparts an open, lighter character that’s well-suited to finger-picked styles. The Compact 80 Pro also offers phantom power (48V via the mic input and 9V via the line input) so you can power your condenser mic or compatible instrument preamp.
Two Effects Engines
Two built-in internal digital effects processors are available for adding space and depth to your vocals or instruments. There are four effect types to choose from: a short reverb, a long reverb, a 320 m/s delay and a chorus. The effect choice for channels 1/2 and 3/4 can be allocated separately, which is handy if you want a different effect for your voice and your instrument. If you prefer to use an external pedal or unit for effects, simply connect it to the Compact 80 Pro using the send and return sockets. The effects can be turned on/off hands-free using an external footswitch. A footswitch can also be used to engage the Mute function, which is great if you need to quietly tune-up or swap instruments.
Monitoring Capability
The AER Compact 80 Pro can perform as a monitor for another amplifier via the Couple-In input. All you need to do is connect the DI-out of the amp you want to monitor to the C80pro using an XLR cable. There’s a Couple Level control so you can adjust the volume of the amp you’re monitoring. You can also use the Couple-In input to pair up two C80Pro amplifiers and monitor them bi-directionally.

The Compact 80 Pro packs an impressive 80W output into a portable enclosure that only weighs 10kg. Thanks to the high wattage and bass reflex enclosure, you can count on the C80Pro to deliver plenty of headroom and a defined low-end.
Fully Connected
The AER Compact 80 Pro is fully equipped when it comes to connectivity. There’s an Aux-In for running backing tracks or other music, a Line-Out for connecting two extension speakers and two high-quality DI-outs (one with effects and aux-in signal, one without).
