Excellent headphones for general home studio use including mixing at this price point. Comfortable to wear for extended periods and a good level of detail. Bottom end is tight with the higher frequencies sounding pretty natural without any harshness. Build quality is a little disappointing for the money when compared something like the DT880 Pro but it does help to keep the weight down on your bonce!
Fantastic sound quality, sound stage is huge and the clarity is pin sharp. These do not lack bass being open backed either!
A great 'lockdown' pair of headphones. As my production work involves hours of critical listening my usual 95/5 % Monitor/Headphones workflow has been reversed. I was finding my other headphones very uncomfortable for extended periods and my ears were getting very hot. After watching many reviews of the K712 Pros I decided to order a pair and I just wish I had done it sooner. Not only are they the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn but they are also very detailed and have an amazing soundstage. The bass is extended and very clear from distortion but very natural sounding. They are certainly less 'Bass in Yo Face' than a lot of their rivals but all the better for it from a mixing perspective. I'd say that only the lift at 2Khz'ish takes them away from a very neutral set. If you allow for this slight lift you can soon get used to mixing accordingly. The only warning I would give people is that, like other open back headphones, they leak quite a lot of sound. I would not suggest you wearing them close to others (unless you want to share your taste in music!) and I would certainly not recommend them for recording. To close, I would like to say that for under £200 they take some beating sonically...and you won't find anything close for comfort!
Best headphones I ever bought. Excellent sound quality. Extremely comfortable
