There’s a 5-pin DIN MIDI output and a 9V power input so you can use the Q88 MKII as a powerful standalone controller for your external hardware.

Classic Performance Features

On the left-hand side of the Alesis Q88 MK II are the performance controls, which feature sturdy mod and pitch wheels as well as a reassignable slider. With the slider, you can tweak assigned settings on-the-fly - such as track’s volume or a synth’s filter.
