The Bare Knuckle Pickups Boot Camp BKPBC-STRS-OG-WHI is a hand-wound, white, Strat pickup set and part of the Old Guard series: a moderate output range for classic blues, rock, country, pop and alternative tones.

Exactly what I had expected and hoped for, producing an early strat sound on a copy strat. If I had to be picky, when installing them I was careful not to damage the exposed internal copper wiring. I chose the pickups with level pole pieces which give a more blended sound and avoid the dominant G string. I also used my old pickup spring mounts in preference to the supplied bits of rubber sleeving. I have yet to gig them but it all looks good and sounds promising.
