Based on the successful Burns Legend, made famous by Hank Marvin of The Shadows, the Marquee features a zillion tonal variations. 3 single-pole pickups with a 5-way selector, dual tone knobs, and a push/pull control on one tone knob that adds additional pickup combinations. Alder body, rock-maple neck and rosewood fretboard. 2-point rocking trem is very stable and looks great in gold.Please note the picture for Guards Red shows maple fingerboard due a recent spec change.
This guitar has won high prasie in the European press and was awarded Guitar of the Year in 1999 and 2000.
