With new and precise Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups and its 2-band EQ guarantees, the Cort A5 offers versatility for multiple genres and styles.

The Fluence Soapbar pickups have been adapted for 4-string and 5-string bassists and offer them a wide selection of sounds. Its multi-voice achieves hum-free true tones to reach your full potential of sound and playing with no corrupted tones and flawless dynamic range.

The Cord A5 Ultra volume knob includes the push/pull option which engages single-coil mode when pulled and creates a Jazz Bass string window. The 3-way control switch gives you the option of passive (classic, fat and round), active (full frequency & full dynamics) or active with mid contour (funk, hi-fi scooped) to enable perfect tones for your chosen style.

The Cord A5 Ultra ensure great tonal range and powerful enhancing sustain with its see-thru-body and top-load construction. The 34” scale creates tighter string tension and focused sound, while the neck is made of maple and Panga Panga, balanced together to achieve great playability, feel and tone. The Panga Panga fingerboard produces a tight and coherent sound which is a great companion to the multi-laminate neck-thru-body construction.

Other features include Hipshot Ultralite Tuners made of cast zinc with aluminium strings posts and mounting nuts for improved balance, tuning accuracy and lighter weight than other regular tuners.
