I love tools and these ones are really sexy. If your a dry engineer head. Need i say more. Do not buy these tools if your hopeless. These tools are the best medicine to fix your bass.

Handy for setting up your instrument, but maybe the price was a bit much for the tools included. But easy to pack and carry around if touring regularly

The picture here could do with being updated. CruzTools no longer include a torch in the Bass Tech Kit and it looks like the picture here is of the older version that included the torch (this review, July 2018). A little part of me was hoping perhaps these were older stock due to the picture - a torch is always handy - but no. Not to worry though, the tools are good quality and all you are likely to need for a basic set-up and string change. The screw driver is 6-in-1 (2 phillips tips, 2 flat head tips and 2 sockets apparently for truss rod nuts). You might well be able to get equivalent tools cheaper at a hardwear store but you get a useful set-up guide and the tools are lifetime guaranteed. The case could be better (i.e. smaller), I'm not keen on the see-through plastic front but there is a compartment on the back where you can store a spare set of strings along with the set-up guide and not forgetting the little pocket for picks too.
