Electro-Harmonix Cradle Next Step Pedal Board Cradle Overview

EHX have created a convenient, secure way to mount any of the Next Step Effects pedals to a pedalboard. The new Pedalboard Cradle is custom-designed of a lightweight, durable polymer. Measuring 8.875 x 4.375 x 0.625 inches, it adheres to a pedalboard with hook and loop fastener and the pedal rocks freely and securely within the cradle. When the musician is ready to pack up their pedalboard, a security strap locks down the Next Step Effect for transport.

It's a bit of plastic but it's nice to have a tidy way of storing and a solid platform for using the Next Step line of pedals. I use this with a Crying Bass Wah. The pedal itself is an interesting idea but it's weird to have to buy something that makes it sort of like any other Wah. It's nice in a space restricted environment to have it with the rest of the pedals and means you can use a smaller patch cable and the same power supply as the rest of the pedals.
