Elixir 11027 80/20 Bronze Nanoweb Acoustic, Custom Light, 11-52 Overview

11 to 52 Gauge

Elixir Nanoweb Acoustic 11-52 Custom Light

Elixir Nanoweb Acoustic Guitar strings are coated in a unique way to protect wound strings from all contaminants. A flexible, strong, yet micro-thin polymer tube defends the critical zone of tone from invading enemies. Nothing ( including the coating ) gets between the windings.

Elixir strings with the original Nanoweb coating apllied sound great 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary strings, have the bright tone & punch of non-coated strings & feel like traditional strings. After experiencing Elixir guitar strings, it's hard to go back to the old way of life.

11, 15, 22, 32, 42, 52.

Used these strings for years. Great tone that lasts longer than uncoated strings with the bonus that the coating reduces string squeak when sliding up the frets.

Excellent product. Worth the extra couple of quid.

Best-sounding acoustic strings I've tried, and a really good life on them too.

It is impossible to provide a review as I am still awaiting delivery of the product. All I can say is the courier company used by GAK is lazy and/or incompetent and it would have been far cheaper and a lot quicker to have opted for the ordinary Post Office service. While I appreciate that this is not entirely GAK's fault I am afraid that I am highly unlikely to ever use this company again due to the delivery problems I have and continue to experience. It appears I am unable to post this comment without giving a rating - ridiculous.... why is it not possible to provide a zero review which could always be possible and in my case where I have not been able to experience the product this rating it completely meaningless. Trustpilot should face reality and reconsider their approach to gathering information.
