Used condition. Minor scuffs and scratches from use. Tiny hairline cracks at the neck join & A chip taken out of the headstock due to improper transportation. Our expert luthier has extensively cleaned the body & neck, and given it a complete setup.
The Epiphone EB-0 SG Style bass guitar has a short-scale and narrow neck making it very easy to play. But more than that it’s also an entry-level reissue of an absolute classic. Back in the '60s the original Gibson EB-0s and EB-3s were renowned for their unique tones. This Epiphone has the same mahogany body and rosewood fingerboard but, as an interesting change to the original spec, has a bolt-on neck.
Also like the originals the Epiphone has a single humbucker pickup, in this case an Epiphone made ‘Sidewinder’. This pick-up translates the solid mahogany body’s natural character into a rich tone. The narrow neck profile is fast and comfortable while the chrome hardware finishes things off with aplomb. The EB-0 is a classic short-scale bass and the scale here is 30.5", making it great for players with smaller hands.
