Epiphone Hummingbird Tenor Electro Ukulele, Faded Cherry Sunburst Overview

The Hummingbird Studio Tenor Ukulele (tuned GCEA) is Epiphone first tenor Uke in over half a century. It features a classic square shoulder acoustic guitar body style. It has white and black binding on the top, body, and fingerboard.

The tortoise-styled pickguard has an early 60s Hummingbird graphic design. The top is made from solid Sitka spruce, which will grow to become even richer sounding with age and playing time.

The body and neck are made from mahogany with a SlimTaper C-profile and the neck has a 17” scale length with 19 frets and a granadillo fretboard. The reverse belly bridge is also made from granadillo.

The Hummingbird Studio Tenor Ukulele is set up at the factory in standard GCEA tuning with a high G. The traditional Epiphone Sloped Dovewing headstock has both the Epiphone and classic Crown inlay in
pearloid.

The Hummingbird Studio Tenor Ukulele can be plugged into any PA or amp thanks to the under saddle Piezo Film pickup. The ¼” output jack is rim-mounted.

The Hummingbird Studio Tenor Ukulele is equipped with Premium Open-Back
machine heads with a 14:1 turning ratio.

Perfect for travel - A gig bag is included.

Looks superb! Well made, easy to play. Have not yet tried it amplified but has a nice tone acoustically although it does lack projection a little in my opinion.
