How it Works

Do you live in an EU country? As well as providing our customers with fantastic delivery options across the UK, we also ship to many European countries too.

For just £19.99*, our European Express delivery option covers baskets over £140.

Please note - Surcharges may apply to certain regions and specific order types. Large/heavy items may also incur additional delivery costs.

If you are a resident of one of the above countries, we have taken all the guesswork out of the logistics of purchasing through us.

The price you initially see when browsing, or adding items to your basket, will still be in GBP including UK VAT (20%). If you enter your address details, the basket recognises your region and will automatically change the price to exclude VAT (you can proceed as normal to make payment).

VAT is not charged at the point of purchase, instead, you are charged your local VAT rate when the goods arrive in your country, plus any region-specific import duties (typically between 2%-4%) for goods that were made outside the UK and EU (items originating in the EU or UK are nil duty).

When your goods are despatched and arrive in your country you will be contacted by either DPD or DHL. It is at this point that you will pay the local VAT & Import Duty due on your purchase.

Both DPD and DHL are extremely efficient with this stage of the delivery process and make it quick and easy to sort. By completing and initially paying these fees on your behalf, both logistics partners ensure there is minimal delay in receiving your goods. Please note, orders that are despatched with DHL will include a disbursement fee for using these services.

Please note - Local VAT and regional import duties are out of GAK’s control. All charges are set by the European Commission.
