The Fender American Professional II Stratocaster HSS enhances the iconic Stratocaster with modern upgrades while retaining its classic appeal. Featuring an alder body with a gloss urethane finish, it sports a maple neck with a Deep "C" shape and a satin urethane finish on the back, plus rolled fingerboard edges for added comfort.
The guitar is equipped with V-Mod II single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions, offering the traditional Strat chime with improved articulation, paired with a DoubleTap humbucker in the bridge for versatile humbucker and single-coil tones. This Stratocaster features a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles and a cold-rolled steel block for enhanced sustain.
The controls include a master volume, tone controls for the neck/middle and bridge pickups, and push/push electronics for coil splitting on the HSS model. The 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard and vintage tall frets provide a familiar playing experience, while the contoured neck heel and beveled neck plate ensure easy access to higher frets.
