The American Professional II Stratocaster HSS pushes the flexibility of this classic to new levels. In addition to playing upgrades like a redesigned neck heel, new bridge and rolled fingerboard edges, the pickups have also been completely refreshed. The V-Mod II single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions deliver the bell-like chime and warmth you want from a Strat with increased articulation but now they're paired with the brand new DoubleTap humbucker in the bridge position. The new DoubleTap humbucker provides rich, punchy humbucker tones and also - at the push of a button - carefully calibrated single-coil sounds allowing you to revisit the original Strat sound that made this instrument the legend it is.
