Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic, Tortoiseshell Pickguard, Olympic White
Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic, Tortoiseshell Pickguard, Olympic White.
A great 1960 Journeyman Relic Strat. Featuring a two-piece Alder body. The Maple neck has a pretty slim (measuring 0.790" at 1st fret thickening to 0.930" at the 12th) and very comfy mid-60's style oval 'C' profile with an 'AAA' grade Rosewood 9.5" radius fingerboard, medium jumbo frets and a 1.65" Micarta nut. The fingerboard edges are nicely rolled to give that 'broken in' feel. Electronics wise Fender have gone with the popular custom mix of a Texas Special bridge, Fat '50s Middle and a '69 Strat neck. Popular for a reason- they work really well together for a great selection of tones. Ships with Custom Shop brown hardshell case.
A Fender Custom Shop instrument is as good as it gets. You know it when you play one—it’s filled with intangible, electrifying elements that adds a new dimension to your playing experience. It’s as if the instrument itself is imbued with history, and is as close as it gets to an original build Fender from the Golden Era.
