Fender Custom Shop '63 Stratocaster, Relic, Sea Foam Green Sparkle
Fender Custom Shop '63 Stratocaster, Sea Foam Green Sparkle, Relic Overview by GAK
Wow! A bold and beautiful '63 Strat in the seldom seen Sea Foam Green Sparkle, with a Relic Finish. The 2 piece alder body has a few patches of bare wood showing through here and there, like a real showman's guitar that's seen some action. You won't be missed with this bold colour statement. The straight grain maple neck has a round-laminate AAA Greade Rosewood fretboard, topped off with a 9.5" Radius and Jumbo Frets. It's a killer sounding guitar, with looks to die for. So what's going on underneath the hood...
Underneath the parchment pickguard, sits a trio of hand-wound FAT '60s Pickups, as the name suggests an overwound and hot set! The reverse wound / reverse polarity middle pickup is hum-cancelling in the in-between positions, with a modern 5-way switch, it also comes with bridge wired to tone, and the master volume has a tone saver, so you don't loose treble as you roll the volume back.
A Fender Custom Shop instrument is as good as it gets. You know it when you play one—it’s filled with intangible, electrifying elements that adds a new dimension to your playing experience. It’s as if the instrument itself is imbued with history, and is as close as it gets to an original build Fender from the Golden Era.
The Custom Shop builders are completely dedicated to their art, they’re the best at what they do, and they pour all of their passion, hard-earned knowledge and skill into every instrument they build. It’s no ordinary place, and the creations that come from it are no ordinary instruments. Whether they're Teambuilt or Masterbuilt.
If you want to create a completely custom instrument bespoke for you, it can be done. Custom-Built is for those prefer to start with one of Fender's time-honored models and personalise the specifications to meet your specific needs. Masterbuilt is for something a little special, a guitar that wll make your dreams come true, built to your exacting standards. Just speak to one of our advisors at GAK.
