Fender FSR American Original '60s Telecaster, Surf Green Overview

The Telecaster is a classic, reliable workhorse guitar used by many musicians around the world. The Fender FSR American Original ‘60s Telecaster is part of the American Original range which cherry-picks the best features from across the decade and adds some modern updates to create a guitar that is among the very best.

The Fender FSR American Original ‘60s Telecaster has an Alder body that provides a balanced sound. It also has a durable Maple neck with a Mid-'60s ‘C’ shape profile which provides a comfortable playing experience and is topped with a round laminated rosewood fretboard with a 9.5” radius. It has 6105 tall vintage frets for lower action that won’t fret-out on bends.

The bridge is an original vintage-style Tele bridge with 3 threaded steel ‘barrel’ saddles, delivering that famous ‘60s Tele bite, and single-line ‘Fender Deluxe’ vintage-style tuning machines for extra tuning stability.

For pickups, it has a pair of New American Vintage ‘64 Gray-Bottom Tele single-coil pickups which faithfully emulate those from the 60s - with enamel-coated coil wire, cloth-covered output wires, fibre bobbins and alnico 5 magnets. On the bridge pickup, the copper shielding plate adds some extra zing to your sound, and the pole pieces are staggered to deliver a balanced volume.

The Fender FSR American Original '60s Telecaster is completed with chrome hardware, new Fender flash coat lacquer on the body and neck, top hat style switch tips, new knurled chrome flat-top control knobs, and a classic Surf Green finish.

The FSR American Original ‘60s Telecaster comes with a new deluxe vintage brown case and a saddle height wrench.
