Fender FSR Japan Classic ‘60s Jazz Bass (Ocean Turquoise Metallic) Overview

Since its introduction in 1960 the Jazz Bass has proven instrumental in the development of new styles, finding a home in music as diverse as reggae, blues and hard rock. The Classic '60s Jazz Bass celebrates this versatility with classic style and appointments and rich, authentic sound that-s ideal for bassists who want to share the musical spotlight instead of lurk at the back of the stage. This flexible instrument includes a pair of single- coil pickups-a clear-sounding neck pickup with airy sound matched to a tight, punchy bridge pickup. Master volume and tone controls fine-tune the pickups- voice while the blend knob allows the pickups to be mixed to create the perfect balance for your voice. The slim "C"-shaped maple neck hosts a 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets for a familiar playing experience while the 1.5" nut width is ideal for fast, intricate playing. The vintage-style 4-saddle bridge, synthetic bone nut and vintage-style open- back tuners provide pinpoint intonation along the length of the fingerboard while working together for ultra-stable tuning stability whether played with a pick, fingers, or slapped. The elegant offset-waist body is exceptionally comfortable, whether playing seated or standing, offering the classic eye-catching appointments you-ve come to expect from Fender-vintage- style black plastic Jazz Bass control knobs, large block inlays, chrome hardware, four-bolt neck plate, black pickup covers, large headstock and a three-ply pickguard are all present. A classic bass updated with modern touches, the Classic 60-s Jazz Bass is a vintage-vibe instrument designed for bold players who relish the past while keeping an eye to the future.
