Fender Jack White Panoverb EU Overview
The Fender Jack White Panoverb amplifier is a custom tube amp that takes inspiration from three of Jack White’s favorite vintage Fender amps: the 1964 Vibroverb, the 1960 Vibrasonic, and the 1993 Vibro-King. Crafted in collaboration with Jack White, it merges iconic Fender design with new, innovative features to create a unique sound experience suitable for both stage and studio settings.
Key Features:
Distinctive Circuitry:
- The circuit is an amalgamation of the best elements from Jack White’s favorite vintage amps, delivering his signature tone and unique sonic qualities. It’s designed for players who seek a distinct sound beyond traditional Fender offerings.
Powerful Stereo Output:
- The Panoverb employs two 6L6 and two 6V6 output tubes for true stereo operation, providing a wide, immersive soundstage. The combination of these tubes produces a rich and harmonically complex tone with plenty of headroom for clean and overdriven sounds.
- With 70 watts of combined output power, it offers plenty of volume for large stages while retaining clarity at lower volumes for studio work.
Preamp and Reverb Section:
- The amp features six 12AX7 preamp tubes and one 12AT7 tube, providing lush harmonics, smooth gain stages, and classic tube warmth.
- The built-in 26dB adjustable boost control gives you the ability to push the amp’s front end for more bite and saturation.
Unique Speaker Configuration:
- Equipped with two Jensen speakers: a 15” Jensen® C15N for rich, deep bass response and a 10” Jensen® P10R for cutting midrange and top-end sparkle. This pairing provides a balanced and full-bodied tone that covers a wide range of frequencies.
- The Full/Split switch allows you to route reverb to either both speakers or just the 10” speaker, offering more tonal control and sound-shaping versatility.
Harmonic Tremolo:
- The amp’s Stereo/Mono switch enables harmonic tremolo in either stereo or mono modes. This provides players with rich, pulsing tremolo effects in a true stereo field for enhanced depth and movement.
Distinct Aesthetics:
- Featuring Third Man Hardware’s signature yellow, black, and white design, the Panoverb visually stands out, embodying Jack White’s unique artistic flair.
- The amp comes with a fitted canvas cover and a two-button yellow footswitch for controlling the reverb and tremolo, with a side-mounted cable for easy connectivity.
