Fender Player Mustang 90 Pau Ferro Fingerboard, Burgundy Mist Metallic Overview

Fender Player Mustang 90 Overview.

The Fender Player Series has been a great success due to it's great build quality, affordability and it's visually aesthetic appearance. This year the Offset Series of guitars and basses has been given a revamp and incorporated into the Player Series to offer you even more choice from this great range. Models such as the Fender Player Mustang 90 available in Aged Natural, Burgundy Mist Metallic and Seafoam Green, The Fender Player Lead Series available as a Single Coil (Lead II) or Humbucker (Lead III) version in six great colours such as Neon Green, Metallic Purple and Sienna Sunburst to name a few. A nod back to '79 when the Original Lead series was released onto the market! The Fender Player Duo-Sonic and Fender Player Duo-Sonic HS are now available in a range of new colours including the very popular Tidepool and Seafoam Green. For the bass players we have the incredibly popular Fender Player Mustang Bass PJ in three great new colours. Sienna Sunburst, Aged Natural and the very cool Firemist Gold!

Perfect for garage rock and other styles that thrive on nonconformity, the Mustang 90 offers a distinctive take on a classic model. With upgraded features, unique aesthetics and fat Fender sound, this spirited instrument is perfect for players that march to a different beat. A new take on an underground classic, it stays true to the rebellious spirit that birthed rock 'n' roll.

This fantastic short scale guitar is perfect. The 90 pickups give me the sound I wanted. Thanks for your advice.

Had this about a fortnight now so still very much in the honeymoon period, however so far it seems excellent. Had to tweak the intonation a bit but expected that would be the case, the neck is great, no sharp ends on the frets. Would recommend putting 11s on this as the 10s it came with were pretty floppy ( 24” scale ). Overall it’s a cracking little punk rock guitar.

This is a fantastic guitar. My only slight issue is that the nut wasn't cut terribly well (high E string too close to the edge of the fretboard). Other that that, it sounds ace, has a wonderful neck and plays superbly - oh, and it looks killer in Burgundy Mist Metallic. Even the P90s are pretty quiet compared to other P90s I've played.

Was so excited to get this after seeing it at NAMM 2020. It is just as gorgeous in real life and plays beautifully. Short scale neck perfect for my little hands and what an unladylike sound from such a beautiful guitar. Love it!
