The Fender Player Plus Series builds on the best-selling Player Series that was first released in 2018, combining classic Fender designs with upgraded features and new finishes to create Fender’s most advanced series ever in this class, setting a new standard for entry-level guitars.

The Fender Player Plus Active Jazz Bass has an Alder body which is fairly lightweight and provides a full-bodied tone, a 34” scale length, a durable maple neck with a modern ‘C’ shape profile and a smooth satin finish. The fretboard is made from Pau Ferro which has a feel comparable to ebony and has rolled edges, a 12” radius, 1.5” nut width and 20 medium jumbo frets which all make for a modern feel.

The Player Plus Jazz Bass has a Fender HiMass bridge with chrome-plated zinc saddles which provides great sustain, resonance and perfect intonation, while the standard open-gear tuners provide great tuning stability.

For pickups, it has a pair of hum-free Player Plus Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups which deliver clarity and growl, while the 3-band active EQ allows you to shape your tone to get just the right sound. The mini-toggle switch lets you toggle between active or passive mode, making the Player Plus Jazz Bass incredibly versatile.
