At this price point it's rare to find a guitar that sounds fully 'present' both acoustically and amplified. The Redondo has a full-bodied thrum in both states with great intonation. Unplugged the dreadnought body shape built from mahogany (back/sides) adds to its bass-centric dynamism. This offers big, throaty chords that ring on for ages. It comes fitted with 12's and they're the perfect match. Action isn't specifically high, but easily adjustable by filing down the bridge - if personally required. With an amp the Fishman pickup and preamp deliver a wide range of tonality - chiming highs with great detail are easily achievable. VERY impressed - and it looks good too.
