Great sounding amp with simple controls that allow you to model your sound. Incredibly light , which is a real bonus. Also very loud for 100 Watts. It's actually the second of these l've owned.

Wanted something a bit louder to keep up with band and excitable drummer at rehearsals and this fits the bill perfectly. Nice and lightweight for its size but packs a punch with its 12" speaker and good EQ options if you need them. Sounds good with a pedal or compressor in front too. Direct out is post-EQ - not really a problem for me as I don't do too much with the EQ anyway - but it may be an issue for some. I like the sound of this amp with all my basses.

Need to use in a gig environment, but sure all OK. Already have a Rumble 100, so I know what I'm buying.

I had decided to buy the Rumble 40 because I just play at home but the difference of the price for the Rumble 100 was just £60 so I bought the R100. It's overkill for me but it is amazing amp and no regrets. I love how the bass sound: clear and warm but it can be adjusted to more bright and punch sound if needed.
