Fender Silent Siren Telecaster Maple Fingerboard, Second-Hand Overview
Be anything but silent with this Japan-exclusive tone machine!
SILENT SIREN is an indispensable presence in the Japanese girl band scene, and now, a signature model guitar has been released in the Fender Japan line. Vocalist and guitarist Suu personally supervised the design from scratch to create her ideal Telecaster.
The guitar features a unique aesthetic with a white color covering the entire neck grip and fingerboard surface, accented by pale violet lines that give it a distinctive appearance reminiscent of a thinline model while maintaining a solid body. The guitar's specifications include an alder body with a glossy urethane finish, providing both durability and a sleek look.
The body shape is the iconic Telecaster, paired with a 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge, which ensures stable tuning and excellent sustain. The hardware is finished in nickel/chrome, and it includes Fender® standard cast/sealed staggered tuning machines for precise tuning stability. The electronics feature an uncommon HS configuration for a Telecaster, with a Vintage Single-Coil Tele® pickup in the neck and a Shawbucker humbucker in the bridge. This combination delivers the ideal sound that Suu envisioned, offering a versatile tonal range. The guitar also includes a 1-ply white pickguard, knurled flat top control knobs, a white switch tip, and a 4-bolt neck plate, adding to its classic yet unique design.
Overall, this signature model is a blend of vintage charm and modern functionality, tailored to meet the specific preferences of Suu and capturing the essence of SILENT SIREN's sound.
This example comes set up with D'Addario 9-42, weighs 7.14lbs and includes a gig bag.
