The Friedman Dirty Shirley combo has been designed for guitarists wanting a Vintage Classic Rock tone with modern build quality, reliability and features. Tonally it's been inspired by classic British valve amps.
Fusing a modified JTM-45 to Friedman's signature high-gain the Dirty Shirley puts out 40, 5881 powered, watts. And it's a single channel amp that gives you vintage crunch and cleans up nicely with the old guitar volume knob trick. It's extremely versatile, with a hole host of tones hiding behind just its volume and tone controls alone.
Designed from the ground to take front end drives and boosts without a fight this amp loves pedals. OD’s, phasers, flangers, tremolos and wahs, they're all at home running into it's front end. While Friedman's ultra-transparent series effects loop handles your time-based effects pedals and rack units around the rear.
