Gibson’s ES-339 has long been popular with players seeking the legendary feel and tone of the seminal ES-335 "semi-acoustic" electric, but in more compact proportions. Stripped of everything but the essentials the 339 Studio has everything you need and nothing you don't!
And these are great spec guitars. Featuring a lightly-arched maple top and back there's a solid centre block that provides sustain and counters unwanted feedback. Loaded with Super '57 and '57 Classic humbuckers, complete with Orange drop capacitors, you can get a fantastic range of tones. Quartersawn Mahogany neck, Tone Pros AVR2 bridge, Nickel Gibson stud tailpiece, Nickel Grover rotomatic tuners, CTS Pots, Tone-Pro long anchor and tailpiece stud and a fitted hardshell case complete the package.
