Gibson Acoustic SJ-200 Studio, Walnut Burst Overview

Production of the J-200, initially called the Super Jumbo, started in 1937, and this - Gibson's top of the line flat top, has undergone several changes during its long production span, causing its design to evolve into this current and impressive model.

Classic character, superb electronics, superior timbre, and a clear tone are all part of what makes this Gibson acoustic such an unforgettable instrument. This "King of Flat Tops" produces a loud, clear, and distinctive voice via its solid Sitka Spruce top and Walnut back and sides, which is easily amplified without compromise using its LR Baggs™ VTC electronics. And with its Mahogany Advanced Response neck and slimmer body depth, this Gibson acoustic provides fantastic quality, comfort, and playability. A Moustache™ bridge, Grover Rotomatics tuners, a TUSQ nut, Gibson's superb attention to detail, and a glorious nitro Walnut Burst finish are just some of the features which take this model to a more than impressive standard.

Bold, timeless, and more versatile than ever before, Gibson's highly skilled luthiers have once again crafted a guitar you'll never forget, or want to put down.
