Available in a strictly limited run, the Gibson Memphis Limited ES-Les Paul Custom Black Beauty 3-Pickup with Bigsby VOS, Ebony is a marriage of some of Gibson's all-time classic guitars! Built in the Memphis factory, famed for building the incredible ES range of guitars including the ES-335, ES-345, ES-355 and most recently, the popular ES-Les Paul model! This particular model takes inspiration from the classic 3-pickup Black Beauty Les Paul, introduced in 1959 and made famous by the likes of Peter Frampton and incorporates a semi-hollow body with F-holes. The result is simply breathtaking and these guitars will no doubt be in the sights of collectors and players for years to come!
Constructed from Maple/Poplar/Maple top, back and sides with a centre block, Mahogany neck and a Richlite fretboard. Pickups come in the form of 3 x MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) PAF recreations. The guitar has all of the classic Black Beauty finish treatments including Ebony Nitrocellulose VOS finish, Custom inlays, gold hardware and a Bigsby tailpiece.
