Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird, Faded Pelham Blue Overview

Ever since it was first released back in 1965, the Non-Reverse Thunderbird Bass Guitar has been popular amongst forward-looking bass players who want a guitar that has a thunderous tone and a design that stands out.

The Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird Bass Guitar has a long scale 34” set neck, a mahogany body to deliver a warm, balanced tone, as well as a mahogany neck with a rounded profile, making it comfortable to play. This is topped with a smooth Indian rosewood fingerboard and 20 medium jumbo frets and a 12” radius.

The 3-point adjustable bridge provides a full range of adjustments for action and intonation, combined with the hipshot Ultralite tuning machines which deliver accurate tuning stability and keep the headstock weight low to make the bass more balanced

For electronics, it has a pair of Thunderbird pickups - with a Rhythm pickup at the neck, and a Lead pickup at the bridge position, which delivers a growl, clean tones, a smooth attack, and everything in between. Each of the Thunderbird pickups has a volume control which gives you the option to blend them both together or use them separately.

To complete the Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird is chrome hardware, a Graph Tech nut, a white pickguard with Thunderbird graphic, and a gloss finish. Includes a Gibson Hardshell Case.

Available in Inverness Green, Faded Pelham Blue, and Sparkling Burgundy.
