This stunning Gibson Slash Les Paul commemorates the legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist’s record “4” (featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators) and his first studio album with Gibson Records. As you’d expect from a guitar in Gibson’s Slash Collection, this “4” edition Les Paul Standard features Slash-approved appointments across the board. It’s essentially a hot-rodded '50s Les Paul - blending a rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic with slinky playability and a smooth, mid-rich sound that responds beautifully to overdriven tones.

Gibson Records is a new venture for the historic guitar company. This exciting record label is a partnership with BMG and was formed with the aim of supporting, developing and promoting their artists. Fittingly, after years of fruitful collaboration, the first album to be released on Gibson Records is “4” by Slash featuring Miles Kennedy and The Conspirators. Classic Construction

At the heart of this special-edition Slash Les Paul’s warm, singing tone is its classic construction. The body is a Mahogany back partnered with a gorgeous AAA Flamed Maple top, which delivers the ample sustain, resonance and richness that you’d associate with a prized Les Paul. Just like a vintage Gibson, this Slash Les Paul’s body features no weight relief for an authentically old-school playing experience.

Comfortable Playability

Joining the body is a set-in Mahogany neck and a glass-like Indian Rosewood fretboard. The 24.75" scale neck is carved to a fatter '50s Vintage profile, which offers a robust, comfortable feel that fills exceptional in-hand. The fretboard is adorned with 22 Medium Jumbo frets - perfect for players that love to wring out every bit of expression from their string bends and vibrato.

Juicy Tone

Electrifying this special-edition Slash Les Paul Standard’s natural voice are a pair of juicy Gibson Custom BurstBucker Alnico 2 humbuckers. These hand-wired Alnico II pickups feature Orange Drop capacitors and deliver Slash’s trademark fat, crunchy tone. Whether you’re playing emotive Blues licks or thunderous Rock riffs, you can count on these punchy pickups to sing.

Premium Hardware

Gibson have equipped the “4” Slash Les Paul with premium colour-matched hardware, ensuring reliable and professional performance on stage or in the studio. The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge caters for the “4” Les Paul’s rock-solid tuning stability and precise intonation, whilst the rugged Grover/Schaller strap locks allow you to perform with complete confidence.
